Requesting hosting is simple. I'll need you to provide some details about your website (e.g. site name, what it does / will do, who it's for, how much traffic you expect to get). Some essential details such as domain / subdomain names are required. Also let me know how much space, bandwidth, subdomains, domain aliases, FTP, MySQL, e-mail, etc. you think you'll need. If I think it sounds good, I'll add you to the web host and you'll receive an e-mail with login details.
Couple of notes: (1) WE DO NOT REGISTER DOMAINS FOR YOU! If you request a domain for your web hosting, you must register it!!! (2) We will not accept websites with vague descriptions such as "Web design" or "Forums for people." THAT CAN MEAN ANYTHING! We need to know a little more than that.
If you have questions, just post a message and let me know.
how do you register a domain name? I need to relocate my sites from at&t, and I have had them posted for years. I plan to use the web site to develop a family history, school alumni and storytelling site. They will be strictly informational. At present I don't have much traffic. My sites are ~gifted, ~canncun, ~tlccun, and ~ponytales. I am strictly a hobbyist at this.
I plan to create a web site about memory techniques. My first project is a calculator that turns numbers into words that are easy to remember. Traffic will be nil to start, but hopefully it will grow.
